Bloomage Awarded EcoVadis Bronze Medal, Ranking in the Top 35% of Assessed Companies Globally

In August 2024, Bloomage was awarded the Bronze Medal by EcoVadis for its outstanding performance in sustainable development, placing the Company in the top 35% of evaluated companies worldwide.

As a globally renowned rating platform, EcoVadis is acclaimed for its rigorous and comprehensive assessment system and authoritative industry position. To date, over 128,000 companies have participated in the platform's assessment, covering 220 industries and 175 countries. Being certified by EcoVadis means that a company has achieved significant results in sustainable development and gained international recognition.

Based on internationally recognized sustainability standards, EcoVadis conducted a comprehensive assessment of Bloomage in four areas: environment, labor and human rights, ethics, and sustainable procurement. Over the past year, Bloomage's scores in these four areas have steadily improved, especially in this assessment, where the environmental aspect achieved an outstanding score of 80.

As a biotechnology and biomaterials company, Bloomage greatly emphasizes ESG (Environmental, Social, and Governance) management, integrating sustainable development into its transformations of operation modes.

In 2023, the Company established the ESG Management Center, a dedicated ESG department at the company level, and implemented an effective ESG management mechanism, forming a clear and well-structured ESG governance framework. This structure consists of the ESG Committee under the Board of Directors responsible for governance, the ESG Strategic Management Center handling management, and ESG Working Groups within factories, business lines, and functional departments accountable for execution, which together provide robust support for the Company's stable operations and sustainable growth.

Bloomage also developed an ESG strategic plan tailored to its unique characteristics, focusing on sustainable operations, products, and society. By advancing its ESG efforts scientifically and rationally, the Company aimed to enhance its operational resilience and ability to adapt to future developments.

In 2024, the Company further revamped its original Social Responsibility Report into the Sustainability Report, enhancing its information disclosure's completeness, scientificity, and standardization. The new report added essential topics such as health accessibility and experimental ethics,  providing a more scientific and systematic overview and disclosure of the Company's efforts in the ESG field while offering a more profound and comprehensive response to the expectations of various social stakeholders.
