On November 8, 2021, Ministry of Industry and Information Technology published online the Sixth Batch of Selection of Individual Champions in Manufacturing Industry and the Third Batch of Enterprises Passing the Review. With its strength and contribution in the field of hyaluronic acid, Bloomage Biotech appeared in the List of the Sixth Batch of Manufacturing Individual Champion to be identified as a Single Champion Demonstration Enterprise, and accepted the supervision of all sectors of society during the publicity.

The Ministry of Industry and Information Technology decided to launch a special action to cultivate and upgrade individual champion enterprises in manufacturing industry, and issued an implementation plan in 2016, in order to guide manufacturing enterprises to focus on innovation and product quality improvement, push the industry towards the middle and high end, and drive Chinese manufacturing to the world. The list of the first batch of enterprises to become single champions of manufacturing industry was announced.by the Ministry of Industry and Information Technology and the China Federation of Industrial Economics in 2017. In the following years, other batches of selected enterprises were announced successively by the Ministry of Industry and Information Technology and the China Federation of Industrial Economics. The selected enterprises were evaluated and reviewed every three years.

In April this year, the selection of the sixth batch of Single champion in manufacturing officially started. According to the requirements of the Ministry of Industry and China Federation of Industrial Economics, applicants must meet many strict requirements: it should adhere to professional development and have more than 10 years of work in related fields; its market share should be the world’s leading and the market share of the application products is among the top three in the world; which should have strong innovation ability, international leading in production technology, and emphasis on research and development investment; Also it should have high quality and efficiency and excellent business performance with sound financial, intellectual property rights, production safety and other management systems without environmental, quality, safety illegal records in the past three years.

It is sure that only truly outstanding enterprises can be shortlisted for the list of single champions in manufacturing industry due to strict standards. In 2018, the leaders of the Ministry of Industry and Information Technology pointed out the importance of this list at the exchange meeting of single champions of manufacturing industry. Single champion in manufacturing represent the highest development level and the strongest market strength. It is the first Phalanx and pacesetter in manufacturing enterprises.
