SCC76 ANNUAL MEETING | Bloomage Biotech participated with innovative solutions

2022.12.16

From December 12th to 14th, The 76th Annual Scientific Meeting & Showcase was successfully held in Los Angeles, California, USA. SCC76 covers the latest research and innovation in Hair Care, Skin Care, Sun Care, Sustainability, Makeup, Fragrance, Sensory, Claims, and more. Over 1,000 people from top cosmetic/personal care brands, manufacturers, suppliers, academia, and regulatory organizations around the globe join the event.

Bloomage Biotech focuses on developing and applying new products in personal care. At this SCC Annual Meeting & Showcase, Bloomage Biotech brought innovative hair care solutions "Hyanutra™-RH & Biobloom™ Microecobeauty ME-1/ME-2," and a new special Chinese herbal fermentation anti-aging product " Bioyouth™-FCM Cordyceps Militaris Ferment Filtrate".

The latest research results:

1.HyanutraTM- RH Hair Nourishing Shield

Specially designed for damaged hair, it is a new moisturizing conditioner made from hyaluronic acid with different molecular weights and brown rice ferment filtrate by patented technology. The product uses a three-dimensional water-locking repair system to effectively permeate and distribute active ingredients such as HA, amino acids, and peptides in the hair.

Bloomage Biotech and the Cosmetic Innovation Center of Jiangnan University have jointly explored the multiple hair care effects and mechanisms of different types of hyaluronic acid. We have published two articles [1, 2]. " Improving the Mechanical Properties of Damaged Hair Using Low-Molecular Weight Hyaluronate" has recently been published in Molecules.

2. Biobloom™ Microecobeauty ME-1/ME-2

Originating from the unique probiotic fermentation technology, ME-1 is rich in various amino acids, polysaccharides, proteins, and other biologically active substances. Bloomage Biotech found that ME-1 can effectively inhibit the growth of harmful bacteria and balance the secretion of oil, thus providing a healthy microenvironment for the scalp.

ME-2 can significantly increase the secretion of Nrf2, activate antioxidant pathways, and reduce scalp oxidative stress, thereby improving premature hair loss, dandruff, dermatitis, and other adverse effects caused by oxidative stress [3].

3. Bioyouth™ -FCM Cordyceps Militaris Ferment Filtrate

Bioyouth™-FCM is based on Bloomage Biotech’s fermentation technology platform, using Cordyceps militaris as the substrate and the active essence obtained by the fermentation of specific Lactococcus. Tests show that Bioyouth™-FCM can significantly promote the expression of HIF-1α and improve skin aging problems such as collagen loss, pigmentation, and reduced skin elasticity caused by hypoxia. At the same time, it can also activate autophagy and help skin repair and regeneration.
