Bloomage’s ACTIVENAG® Supports the Release of Industry White Paper

2026.05.22

On April 28, the “Joint Health and Glucosamine Consumption Trends White Paper Launch Event” was grandly held in Beijing. Bloomage, together with D-Cal, JD Health, and CBNData, jointly released the white paper Joint Health, Better Absorption — New Consumer Insights and Selection Guidelines for Glucosamine Supplements (hereinafter referred to as the “White Paper”).

Through in-depth consumer insights and forward-looking trend analysis, the White Paper provides consumers with a scientific and practical guide for selecting glucosamine products. At the event, the parties also introduced the “FAST Standard” for scientifically selecting glucosamine supplements, aiming to promote higher-quality development across the joint health industry and help consumers regain ease, mobility, and freedom in everyday life.

The launch event brought together industry experts, platform representatives, and brand partners to discuss evolving consumer trends in joint health and the future direction of glucosamine industry upgrades. Speakers shared insights from multiple perspectives, including clinical practice, consumer trends, and product innovation.

The Era of 3.0 NAG Glucosamine Has Arrived: ACTIVENAG® Unlocks a More Efficient Path to Joint Care

During Bloomage’s keynote session, Ms. Zang Chuanmin delivered a presentation titled “Revitalize Joints, Move Freely: 3.0 NAG Glucosamine Opens a New Future for Joint Health.” She provided an in-depth interpretation of the technological breakthroughs and scientific evidence behind ACTIVENAG®, the next-generation glucosamine ingredient.

Today, the joint health market is entering the “3.0 era” led by NAG glucosamine ingredients. Approved by China’s National Health Commission as a new food ingredient, ACTIVENAG® is produced through fermentation and proprietary purification technologies. This approach fundamentally avoids the allergen risks and metabolic concerns associated with traditional glucosamine sources, delivering a more efficient and safer joint health solution.

Compared with conventional glucosamine, ACTIVENAG® demonstrates breakthrough advantages in bioavailability. Research shows that its bioavailability is three times higher than that of ordinary glucosamine.[1–2] Clinical studies further indicate[3] that daily supplementation with 300–500 mg of ACTIVENAG® for 6–12 weeks can significantly improve joint discomfort symptoms, providing consumers of different ages and needs with a more efficient and convenient joint care option.

More importantly, ACTIVENAG® can be directly absorbed and utilized by the human body, avoiding the multiple conversion losses associated with traditional glucosamine metabolism. This enables truly targeted and efficient nutritional support for joints, precisely aligning with today’s consumer demand for joint care solutions that are “efficient, safe, and burden-free.” During the presentation, Ms. Zang also introduced the next-generation upgraded joint health solution — the Dual-A Combination.

Bloomage Empowering Joint Health for All

The release of the White Paper and the FAST Standard provides clearer guidance for the standardized and high-quality development of the glucosamine industry.

As a leading ingredient supplier in China, Bloomage’s ACTIVENAG® precisely addresses consumer expectations for joint health support through its advantages in efficient absorption, safety, and purity, positioning it as a next-generation choice in the glucosamine market.

Looking ahead, Bloomage will continue advancing innovation in bioactive ingredients, leveraging science to empower the upgrading of the joint health industry and helping more people experience the freedom and vitality of movement with every step they take.
